Adoption Fee & Agreement

By signing, the applicant certifies that the information provided is true and gives Paws & Claws permission to verify information as needed. A home check may be required.

Adoptive Parent(s) Agreement

I agree to provide adequate food, water, exercise, shelter, veterinary care and love, and to keep the pet appropriately housed or fenced rather than tethered outside. I agree not to sell, trade or surrender the pet to another agency without first notifying Paws & Claws. I understand Paws & Claws has first option to reclaim the pet. I understand the current application provides a two-week return period for the adoption fee; after that, the fee is non-refundable. I accept responsibility for expenses after taking possession unless otherwise arranged with the rescue. If spay/neuter is still required, I agree it will be completed by the required date.
